Lawyers Assisting Vietnamese Clients with No Win, No Fee Claims

At Seymour Furlong, we specialise in assisting people with no win, no fee claims.

This means clients do not have to contribute any costs whatsoever towards their claim, and the costs are recovered from the insurer at the successful conclusion of the matter i.e. upon a settlement, or upon a judgement from a court.

Our firm is set up in Forest Lake, but we also have visited offices in many areas. The firm was originally known as Stockley Furlong, and in recent times, transformed into Seymour Furlong.

Stockley Furlong was first established in the 1970’s at Toowong.

In the 1990’s, John Furlong set up a branch office at Forest Lake. Since that time, the firm has acted exclusively in personal injury claims out of its office in Forest Lake.

John Furlong is an accredited specialist in personal injury claims with the Queensland Law Society and over many years acted for injured Vietnamese people.

The firm continues assisting Vietnamese clients with their claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, work accidents, or other public liability claims.

At the office, we have 3 Vietnamese speaking staff members who can easily assist in translation.

We can also provide details of treatment providers who people may wish to see for treatment in relation to their injuries who are Vietnamese, and therefore, speak fluent Vietnamese.

We also are well aware of the Vietnamese culture and the way various businesses are conducted by Vietnamese people. As such, we feel we are able to offer all Vietnamese people living in Queensland expert legal advice in relation to any claim they may need to bring.

We have acted for Vietnamese people throughout Queensland, or even people who live interstate and suffer as a result of an incident in Queensland and then return to their home.

Our No Win, No Fee policy covers all professional fees + outlays, which means people never have to contribute a cent towards their claim.

The principal of the firm, Peter Seymour, is an accredited specialist for the Queensland Law Society, and is specialised in this area of practice for over 25 years. We feel that we are able to provide expert advice in a timely and efficient manner.

The fees we charge are extremely reasonable and are based on the Court Scale of fees, and not at an inflated hourly rate.

We are therefore able to offer expert advice, reasonable fees and therefore ensure the client’s rights are properly protected.

If you have any questions or queries, we welcome these and offer a completely free initial enquiry service.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we could be of any assistance to you, family members or loved ones.
